| Abstract: |
| Good weld forming of topside and backside using manual gas tungsten arc welding can be achieved by swing arc method which is widely used in accessible seam welding of a variety of materials and large diameter pipe welding. The operation technological characteristics and operation cautions of swing welding were discussed from the perspective of geometry. The comparison of manual gas tungsten arc welding with and without arc swing was also analyzed. This work will provide references for welding operators and welding training of manual gas tungsten arc welding. |
